Freyara is a retailer of at-home and salon aesthetic devices โ LED light therapy masks and panels, microneedling dermapens, HIFU and radiofrequency skin-tightening tools, EMS and ultrasonic "body contouring" machines, IPL hair removal, laser pens and mole-remover pens, plus accessories. Prices span widely, from an $89.99 SAD/light lamp to salon-grade cavitation systems over $3,000, sold in USD with frequent flash discounts and a warranty/return policy. Some of these product categories are low-risk and reasonable to use at home; others carry genuine safety concerns that matter far more than any discount. Because this is a health-adjacent category, buying well here starts with knowing which is which โ and one product line deserves a clear warning.
This is the most important thing on this page, so it comes first. At-home mole-remover and laser lesion pens are strongly advised against by dermatologists and regulators โ do not use them. The Skin Cancer Foundation's guidance is unambiguous: removing a mole or skin growth yourself is dangerous because a spot that looks like a harmless mole can be a skin cancer, and destroying it at home can leave cancerous cells behind, spread them, or delay a melanoma diagnosis โ while also risking infection and permanent scarring. The FDA has stated there are no legitimate over-the-counter mole-removal products. Crucially, a dermatologist doesn't just remove a mole โ they send the tissue to a lab to check it, which an at-home device cannot do. So whatever the cosmetic appeal, any mole, skin tag or lesion you want removed should be evaluated and treated by a dermatologist, full stop. If a spot is new, changing, itching or bleeding, that's a reason to see a doctor promptly, not to reach for a pen.
The cavitation, radiofrequency, HIFU, EMS and ultrasonic machines are marketed for "fat reduction," "body slimming" and "sculpting," and honest expectations matter here. These are cosmetic contouring devices, not weight-loss or medical treatments โ the evidence for at-home "fat reduction" is limited and variable, and no device replaces the fundamentals of health or a doctor's care. Don't buy one expecting it to remove fat or substitute for diet, exercise or medical advice; view any effect as temporary, subtle skin or contour appearance at best. More importantly, these energy devices have real contraindications: they generally should not be used if you are pregnant, have a pacemaker or implanted electronic device, have cancer or a tumor, epilepsy, a blood-clotting disorder, or metal implants in the area โ and should be avoided over broken skin. If you have any health condition or are unsure, check with a doctor before use. These aren't reasons for alarm; they're the standard cautions that come with putting energy into the body, and the labeled instructions and contraindications are there to be read, not skipped.
For the rest of the range, a few genuine safety points make the difference between benefit and harm. Microneedling dermapens create tiny skin punctures, so hygiene is non-negotiable: use sterile, single-use cartridges (never share or reuse), follow depth guidance carefully, and avoid microneedling over active acne, infections, eczema or certain skin conditions โ done wrong, it risks infection and scarring. LED light therapy (red/blue masks and panels) is the lower-risk, better-tolerated category with reasonable evidence for skin appearance, though you should use eye protection and follow session guidance. IPL and laser devices carry burn and eye-safety risks, work differently across skin tones (some aren't suitable for darker skin and can cause burns or pigment changes), and demand the included eye protection โ read the skin-tone suitability chart before buying. Across all of these: patch-test first, start conservative, and if you have a skin condition or are unsure about suitability, a dermatologist's input is worth more than any feature. For sensitive procedures, professional treatment remains safer than DIY.
